Very interesting series Simon. We tried to do the same a while back at Hayling Island, but didn't manage to capture the desolation like you have. Also looks like it could have been a very chilly day? Fingers thawed yet?
BeakerSt: That is my one concern about it all looking a bit bleak as there is a purpose behind this set of images...and it's supposed to be a happy occasion! You're spot on about the weather, I shot most of Saturday which was bright and sunny but blinking cold...Sunday was altogether worse, horrendous gales, driving rain and even colder...Southwold off-season is great as long as you are dressed for it!!
Drat I was going to post one of these fairly soon ... I think I'll wait a year now .... ;-)richard
BeakerSt: Go on Richard, don't be put off as I've posted something similar. We can learn from each other as I procrastinated over this for a while! smile

I knew I liked this but did not know how to describe why. Asiko says it well, and I agree. :o)
BeakerSt: Thanks, Ade usually struggles wink

p.s. Asiko is Ade in case I wasn't making sense!
Nicely spotted image Simon. The receding size of the frames really works.
BeakerSt: Cheers Brian, I had thought about a B&W conversion but the blue squares helped draw the eye in so left it colour.
