photoblog image St Paul's

St Paul's

Had a little walk around London on Saturday...it was warm hot and sunny...I remember now what summer should feel like!

August's Challenge - last few days!!
Give me an image that shouts 'Summer' this time, deadline is the last day of the month and the usual rules apply.  If you don't know the rules then check out my 'About me' page.

this pure blue back drop really does compliment this scene perfectly, super shot.

The challenge "Summer" has been a little difficult to say the least in the UK this year! Well my entry in the challenge is that of todays image 29th August.

Like the shot, and the angle. I'd be interested to know if the angle was for artistic purposes, or that was the only way to get rid of the other crap that surrounds St.Pauls.

We used to have a law whereby buildings couldn't be higher than the towns/cities churches, which is why in classical paintings the churches stand out, as opposed to faceless office blocks. I wish we could go back to those days...

A very worthy shot of a popular landmark smile
Nicely done ! I like the angle of view wich is unusual !
Good angle on a well known building, and in summer as well.
