I really like this. What a great spot. The lines are so wonky I could have built it.
The odd thing was that I noticed the heat/fire marks on the window pane and hadn't actually noticed the charcoal everywhere - then I actually read the write-up. How odd.
BeakerSt: Nope, you couldn't have been responsible for this...it's still standing.
What contrast - the white frame and colors against all that black.
BeakerSt: The over-exposed white frames you mean wink
Leaves you to wonder what happened. But anyway, I like this photo.
BeakerSt: Very strange, a charcoal shed!

The things people do to set decorating trends!! Lovely shot Simon. Simple, effective composition, muted yet vibrant colours (if you understand that), lovely contrast. A real lesson to wannabe photographers. Many kind regards, Neil.
BeakerSt: LOL, perhaps it's like when restaurants present you burnt food as 'blackened'...the next decorating fad!?
Yes it does look a bit strange - there's no accounting for people's decor tastes!
BeakerSt: I didn't touch it in case it fell over!!
exactly, very weird...loving the impact that has though, just makes the objects in the windiw jump out at us..
BeakerSt: Thanks Samarth, it was the window items that attracted my attention and then I noticed the burnt effect...never seen it before!
William Eggleston has got nothing on you, Si.
BeakerSt: Very flattering but I feel I have some way to go to get anywhere near. The tricycle shot of his is particularly impressive. Cheers
Makes and excellent frame, doesn`t it? I like this a lot. (:o)
BeakerSt: Thanks Rosalyn, a strange place for sure.
