photoblog image Windmill View

Windmill View

Just a typical English scene...I even feel a bit cliched posting it...so not my style.

Have a nice weekend all...I intend to!

Deadline for the June entries is the last day of the month!

It may not be your usual style, but it's a pleasing pastoral scene nonetheless.

I'd like to participate in the June challenge.
Please consider my image for 29 June, found here:

Cliche or not, it's very nice. The light is sublime.
Nice landscape.
My entry for junes challenge is http://www.cheapsuit.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Murdered_eggs/
Hope you like it.
Nice one Si.
It may look cliche to you, but to me it is a wonderful landscape and a interesting peep into a typical English scene, but I know how you feel, I felt the same when i posted http://suriname.shutterchance.com/photoblog/Presdential_Palace/ on my other blog.

Cliche or not is totally right, Simon, because you just made my day. I just can't get enough of windmills these days, now that I live half the time in Amsterdam. I never thought I'd see one in a farm scene, however. So THANKS for posting it. I'm getting my education!

I haven't been here in a while as U know, this is stunning with a well balanced composition. lovely stuff
Hi thought I would try your challenge for June - hope I have the protocol right (being a newbie). Image will post tomorrow 30th June and is different from my usual work so interested in the feedback - especially if I have done something wrong.

PS I like the image in landscape format above - what is it with you guys and Windmills though lol. Mike

I don't feel it is cliched. A more traditional shot would be straight on portrait close up. I like the space the windmill has to take in the air here. I don't feel like i have been around enough lately to qualify for posting this but anyway here is my entry into the kitchen challenge.
