I hear on the grapevine that kids can be quite a challenge...

This one's for a certain Mr Finlay, keep up the good work Finners.

Following some feedback on the challenges you've been kindly submitting yourselves for, the window of opportunity has opened a little.  Now the challenges are going to be monthly events opening as close to the 1st as I can get it and available to enter till the end of the month of that month.  You should therefore have more time to get your creative juices flowing...

June's Challenge - "In my kitchen" - entries by June 30th
Brief again simple...so simple that I'm not going to limit it all, I'll be a little more generous with 'relevance' scores...but maybe harsher elsewhere  ;)

p.s. to enter you don't have to be called June and clearly I'm not expecting you all to come round to my kitchen...all other rules of engagement here

What a brilliant shot! I love absolutely everything about it: the colour, the action, the pose, the crop ... just perfect.
BeakerSt: He'd been playing for a while but for some reason I just didn't click that it could be a photo opportunity...I was too worried about getting soaked!
Oh, I really like this shot: the red, the splashing, the boots. I'm not quite sure what makes it for me, but all those things work together.
BeakerSt: I missed the framing that I wanted, a kangaroo style splash as he bounced through, but this seemed to have similar elements. Thanks PK
Ah! Doing what kids do best....
BeakerSt: So true! smile

Fabulous & Fun
Loving it. The little-un reminds me of someone, though they would be in their school uniform, rather than wellies and waterproofs... the little...
BeakerSt: I think I know who you mean, I didn't know she wore the school uniform outside the house though?? ...oh that little one!!

p.s. What's Sheelp?

Allthough the colours appeal to me i would love to see in monochrome...

BeakerSt: Funny you should say that! I started to convert it, realised I didn't have the photoshop skills to do it properly yet, layers and masks and all that, so decided to go with the colour...a project for the future maybe!

Thanks Petra, glad you like it.
This child is having a ball !! Beauty of a shot !!
BeakerSt: Thanks shakara smile
