The Kiss

Well I didn't expect to be away for that long!  Ended up ripping up the study to decorate and in true DIY fashion you never get done what you expect to get done.  The computer was a spaghetti of wires for a few days and then I went away to France for a lovely lovely time.  But now, like it or not, I'm back.

This is a picture I have wanted to take for some time and luckily for me there were some obliging cows staying next to the house in France, think they were from Germany and they'd booked months ago.  Took a few frames and this one seemed to hit the spot, I particularly like the fly on the nose, just a little bit of detail that I was certainly not aware of at the time...not sure if the cow was aware of it either for that matter.  Anyway, a big thanks to Cow 4250 and I hope we didn't make too much noise and you enjoyed the rest of your holiday...  ;)

As regards Challenge III, hmmmmm...seemed to stump a lot of you.  I can either move on to theme IV or I can extend the time and relax the challenge brief.  I'll leave this question here for a couple of days and see what you feel.  Really appreciate Aksel, Jose-Angel and Frank for entering so far, I guess I know who the top 3 are!

Take care and have a nice weekend.

p.s. I will reply to the comments left whilst I was away, much appreciated.

Moo (or whatever vaches say in French). Cows have a very useful ability of being able to stick their tongues right up their noses.

Sorry about the challenge Simon. I was so blown away by your shot of chairs in an auditorium that I couldn't think of a worthwhile chair photo to take myself.
BeakerSt: No problem Steve, I'll be more forgiving with the next theme. Thanks for the extra info on the cows...interesting!

Holy Cow!
I absolutely *really* love this shot Si. Nice one. Even if the cow seems to be thinking "oh God, HURRY UP" grin

Ali Still reminisces about her favourite cow, P26... (no, really she does!)
BeakerSt: You'll have to remind me about P26?

BeakerSt: Thanks Petra, I've had mixed feelings about being 'away' wanting to post but not having anything I'm happy with so decorating the study and going on a short break have been a bit of a refreshing break.

As soon as I get broadband back I will be doing the rounds but it's too hard via dial-up and not feasible at work.

Hope you are well and I'm glad you like my cow!

Ohhh, en este caso, tengo que decir que no me gusta. No me resulta agradable el detalle.

Ohhh, in this case, I must say that I do not like. Is not to me pleasant the detail.
