So rich! Very striking shot
BeakerSt: Cheers Andy
Great colours, and comp....naff links.
BeakerSt: Mmmmm...not sure if this is a result of changing the url codes?? I can't edit anything from work so unfortunately you'll have to go to the archive page and navigate from there? The link on yesterday's page works and yesterday is also where you can find the Challenge III info. Sorry, will edit when I get home, they seem to be missing the word 'photoblog' but not sure why that affects it.
Great contrasting colours.
BeakerSt: Thanks Bernie

no i don't think composition is off at all. what little i know of feng shui is lots of pointy things are supposed to be bad unless i think they are balanced by water.
BeakerSt: Oh I see...maybe we can consider the blue as water in that case then...certainly could do without invoking any more bad luck at the moment! Thanks for the clarification. smile

lol, could not resist the above Simon! lol

stunningly simple image and graphic in nature, very lovely shot.

But you could have waited for 10 mins to get that classic catalogue 10 to 2 hands position! lol. mal
BeakerSt: I'm not sure it's even working...I'd have been there a while!
lol @ mal's dof, scares you doesnt it?
like it...minimalistic but with enough clear basic colours to make it look good...

here's a q about the contest...would a bench photo constitute as a "chair" photo?
BeakerSt: I'm really looking for a chair...there's the challenge.

Thanks for the positive comment.
p.s. i know theyre given different names for a reason but im just checking...
BeakerSt: I'm guessing you have a really nice image of a bench wink
Where's the bell...?
BeakerSt: Nicked or removed due a noise abatement order I guess
WOW! The bluw is soooooo rich...did you do any pp to this one?
BeakerSt: Not to the colours, levels and curves and a bit of burning on the clock face as a reflection had lost detail in the lower numbers. That's about it...the R-1 does produce quite saturated images.
