nice shot, like the tilt
cool perspective. perfect frame smile
i like the angle and grittiness of this shot. very creative eye simon.
It's great, a succession, a repetition of an interesting architectural subject. Good idea for the angle. smile
Great repetition here and the angle of the shot is great.

have you been fiddling with photoshop??

Perfect Simon style excecution/composition but there is an extra element in the shadow details that I like. Mal
BeakerSt: Hi Mal, mostly natural light but I usually go over my pictures with a bit of dodging and burning to get a better tonal balance. In this one it's mostly the underside of the arches to get a more dramatic impact.

Looking forward to seeing your shots soon!!

That's really striking, I like the way you've cropped/taken the picture so that none of the arches are lost.
BeakerSt: Thanks Ellie, I'm forcing myself to take as many interpretations as I can when I see something to shoot. It's all too easy to take a couple and when you get home you realise it's missing something. I try and take shots that don't automatically feel right but on review may offer alternatives previously not considered. With this one I tried the straight shot and then a number at different angles using different elements as the leading lines. This one turned out to have the best combination and no cropping was required. Just thought I'd share my approach smile
Beuatiful imga, very sharp eye and composition. Usually when I shoot models, I also try all angles and interpretations. somethimes the shot you could not have thought of before really is just that extra. I have to agree with you on this sunject as well.
BeakerSt: Cheers Patrick
good one...clean, neat and nice tones...
