Really like this shot. Where is it taken?
BeakerSt: South coast of Australia, Airey's Inlet if I remember correctly just to the West of Melbourne. Glad you like it.

Very subtle B&W PP here Simone, like it muchly.
I think I'd have chopped it just left of the boats but thats a personal preference (Other crops are also available..) wink
BeakerSt: I did agonise over the crop and I'm still unsure. It became unbalanced too easily and then I ran out of interest/patience! smile
I like how you prepped the trees on the right and the clouds. Very nice textures here! I like the shot, but agree with SheelLover on the crop.
BeakerSt: I agree that it's not right but maybe I need to clone out the distractions rather than crop closer to the boats. If I move the boats to the edge then it starts to look out of balance. I find it fascinating how small changes have such dramatic impact and the power to make shot work or not. I guess that's what keeps us interested in taking shots.
It's funny, you should call yourself Sneaker St. At first this seems quite mundane, but I keep looking at those trees, and the treeline itself....mmmmm, it's definitely got somthing, Simon.
